It could just be a cinematic for the game but it looks to me as if this is going to be the full intro to the game. Now, I lost interest in L4D as I played the demo way too much, but looking at that trailer I’m excited – however I do have a tendency to expect too much.

Scavenge is a new multiplayer mode in Left 4 Dead 2’s lineup. It still pits four Survivors against a zombie horde dotted with special class Infected.

Doesn’t sound like anything new, but imma let you finish…

… the catch is that the Survivors have to gather as many of 16 cans of gasoline throughout a map to fill up a generator while the zombies do their best to stop them, kill them or destroy the gas cans. The whole thing is timed and each gas can fed to the generator adds 20 seconds to the clock. The mode plays to three rounds with victory going to whoever got more cans total (and if there’s a tie, it goes to who got the most in the least amount of time).

… Meh! Doesn’t sound fuckin’ eye-exploding great to me, still the rest of the preview is located ‘ere.

Not exactly that bothered about L4D2 to be truthful – I haven’t even bothered to check out the new Crash Course campaign yet. However, it is Thursday and the other half is out watching a stage production of Sweeney Todd so maybe I’ll remove myself from ArmA II & CoD 4 and give it a whirl with some of the other LE members.
